  hi i'm the dev. Sorry to hear about your experience. 1) its a minimal irc like chat place with graphics 2) there is no other way to avoid spambots on open chat apps 3) will come soon, show HN is for prototypes and mvp's right? thanks!

    If we're being pedantic about it, sign-up pages are off-topic and not a great fit for Show HN. You also seem to have taken authority over another old HN account with which you submitted this. That's weird. https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html > Please make it easy for users to try your thing out, ideally without barriers such as signups or emails. You'll get more feedback that way. You had a chance to create a homepage instead of a blank registration form without any additional information. If this is the best prototype that you could come up with, then it is on you that the submission is disliked.

      I am sorry this is not an empty sign up page, there is a full on scalable chat room platform behind. Idk what is the problem with the signup really. I am the dev but guys from my local community posted this, do I have the right to reply here? P.S this is/was a great effort to make people talk online again with love. I am sorry that it made you hate it so much but I can't see why even if I am the worst dev/launcher in the world. It's free, no money involved just personal project and time. Love, not hate.

    Thank you! I initially struggled to understand what your app actually does, but the description in your YouTube video made it perfectly clear: "An immersive real-time conversation app with themed virtual venues, hosted by engaging AI characters designed to emulate real-world experiences." I believe it would be beneficial to include a similar description on your landing page. This would help users immediately understand what your app offers and what they can expect from it.

hate the fact that I have no idea what it is unless i sign up. maybe some demo / description of what it does would be useful to get users engaged.
