From Alan kay in 2016 (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=11940998 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=11940998) It is amazing to me that all these big names including Ilya, Alan Kay, Sergey Levine are not at all vocal in this regard. I would have hoped for them to be somewhat more idealistic and perhaps Ilya did show that and ended up departing but would have also expected more from Alan Kay.
