An Arizona woman has been accused of helping generate millions of dollars for North Korea’s ballistic missile program Obviously the whole thing is illegal regardless but there was no evidence of the above claim in the article. I can't tell if it's real or if it's like those old propaganda claims that buying drugs is funding terrorism. The charges in this case should be a wakeup call for American companies and government agencies that employ remote IT workers Certainly reads more like government/corporate propaganda than an objective report.

Chapman allegedly funneled the money to North Korea’s Munitions Industry Department, which is involved in key aspects of North Korea’s weapons program, including its development of ballistic missiles.     The indictment does not say whether she knew that she was involved with North Korea. I thought that everybody knows how out-of-bounds that is. And its Munitions Industry Department? There is some text about "Chineese". I am grappling. There is something big going on here.

      Lesson learned: do background checks on your criminal associates to make sure they aren't North Korea.

    Right, it's not like she was some hapless woman who accidentally ran into supporting North Korea's weapons program. she was criming with criminals and doing criminal shit.
