The gist of this blog post seems to simply be that C++ has a lot of momentum.
- marginalia_nu 2y agoI think this is a very important point. The most reliable indicator of how long a language will be around is not growth or buzz, but how long it has been around. To put things into perspective, despite all its growth and popularity, Rust hasn't even overtaken PHP yet.
