In fact Microsoft has in some cases gone to great pains to avoid introducing features for which independent ecosystems already exist.
- gcp 14y agoAntivirus programs and CD burning are two good examples. Microsoft built a big developer base in part by not totally screwing them over. But looking at iOS, maybe they shouldn't have bothered.
