I quit social media in 2012, when I was 22 and often, it feels like I live in a completely different universe. GitHub, and a few tech forums, is about the closest thing, and I guess it is basically a full social media platform at this point, but I try to keep to on topic technical discussion, and stay out of the political cesspool that seems to have infected every aspect of society at this point.

Forums and places like Reddit are something I enjoy using. While they are a social media platforms, but they are different. They have real, useful content and often very interesting discussions too.
