For me, this pattern is just common sense. I’ve had no more than one subscription active at a time for over two years. I keep a list of things that sound interesting, and when it gets to be more than a couple for a single provider, I’ll re-up. Why keep paying for content you don’t care about? Of course, if you have kids, I can understand keeping the subscription meter running.
