Hotdoc Documentation Framework
- troupo 3y agoFor a documentation framework it curiously fails at explaining what is good about it, how it is different from others, and why anyone would use it.
- Symbiote 3y agoLooks like custom themes, extensions, and inter-document links. Similar to Antora which you will probably recognise, though Antora also draws content from multiple Git repositories. https://antora.org/ https://antora.org/ (not built with Antora) Showcase of sites using it: https://gitlab.com/antora/antora.org/-/issues/20 https://gitlab.com/antora/antora.org/-/issues/20 (I'm just a user.)
- nyanpasu64 3y agoThe styling looks familiar from Meson's website at https://mesonbuild.com/ https://mesonbuild.com/, and checking Inspect Element on Meson's site reveals hotdoc references in the HTML source. Though I still don't know if it's better than other docs/website frameworks.
- HaoZeke 3y agoIt is the framework used by meson which was how I came across it. It's different, for short API documentation the yaml structure probably works better.
- darylteo 3y agoMmm, I was very confused cuz HotDoc is a very standard platform used for clinic patient management
