Open Source Alternatives to Popular Cloud Services
- Rygian 3y agoWhen checking out Framindmap, there seems to be a glitch. The blurb says "No installation nor registration is required." but the only option given in the page is to Sign up/Sign in. (Same in the original in French.)
- adfm 3y agoNot open source, but plays well with others, SimpleMind is an inexpensive mind map tool that works across Mac, iOS, Windows, and Android. Actively developed for over 15 years with regular releases, it’ll export plain text, OPML, PDF, etc. and easily convert plain text outlines. Works with most cloud sync, including NextCloud. Really impressive for the price you pay. No subscription.

- grantsh 3y agoIs there a relation to GNU? I see lots of wildebeests & penguins in the artwork and the art/writing is reminiscent :)
- Kirce 3y agoThe art is from David Revoy https://www.davidrevoy.com https://www.davidrevoy.com he does lots of art for OSS.
- arboles 3y agoWhy does this only mention their own Frama- tools?
- mdaniel 3y ago> Open Source curl https://framagit.org/framasoft/framacarte | grep -i license curl https://framagit.org/framasoft/framaforms | grep -i license and then I stopped looking. Also, https://participer.framasoft.org/en/framacode/index.html https://participer.framasoft.org/en/framacode/index.html being blank doesn't help matters but I guess that's the "open source" part - "open MRs to fix our docs"
