Like Once. I can add a one time payment model, but installing it on a computer won't work. Because if the data is just stored on a computer: 1) it's not safe. 2) it's not reliable, the computer could stop working.
For one time payment, I agree I will need to implement that.
What feature do you think would be better for bringing trust to you and all users?
Because I agree there could be a huge trust issue.
I will encrypt the data, but would people trust it?
- julienreszka 3y agoYou could make it self hosted and help your customers find reliable hosting providers that have long term plans that will continue provide service after customer dies
- 0xDeveloper 3y agoI think this is better off with me being a reliable source. Because what's the point if user dies and forgets to pay self hosting server bills? That will still be a huge responsibility for the user. What about $2 per month to try, if the user likes they can move to $149 lifetime plan?
