I’m not sure where (legal) liability comes in play here. I don’t think there is a way to successfully sue Dell for this (nor do I think there should be).

- philwelch 14y agoIn some cases there is legal liability. In others it's just a matter of not wanting to be on record admitting guilt for other reasons.
