Having done the ink jet song and dance for a while with multiple printers over the years I bought a color laser jet Brother HL-3170CDW printer 10 years ago for $170. Wireless and it just works. Economical as well with the cartridges. For photo quality I just use the local pharmacy.

Basic bother b&w laser printers (WiFi/ethernet) work great, last forever, work with everything and are affordable. I don’t understand how HP sells anything competing with them.
