As I don't have an X account then I can only see the first tweet in this series.
- abnercoimbre 3y agoI was about to mention the exact same. There is no longer a way for the general public to follow conversations on X.
- politelemon 3y agoSeems like the alternative nitter is gone as well, which used to be the accepted workaround. IMO at this point twitter should be disallowed on HN.
- dataengineer56 3y agoThere used to be alternative websites that would turn a tweet thread into a single webpage (note that this is not what nitter did), but I don't know if they stopped working too?

- dataengineer56 3y agoI wasn't talking about nitter, I'm talking about websites with names like "threadapp" or similar that would just convert a single thread into a static webpage.

- nickthegreek 3y agoIve just started flagging stories that are a single tweet with the rest of behind the login wall. The value isnt there.
