- Ray20 3y agoPutin has exactly one strategy: to remain in power. The revival of the empire has absolutely nothing to do with this. The annexation of Crimea was needed not to revive the empire, but to discredit the idea of revolution in Ukraine that happend in 2014. The war in Ukraine - is the price for the revolution that Putin forced Ukraine to pay, because if the revolution does not have a price, the revolution will happen in Russia
