I would say this post makes more sense to me as a call for self-awareness among potential founders than as an argument for avoiding this route entirely. Sometimes internal tools exist because the incentives are there for a company to build rather than buy. Sometimes internal tools exist because the right tool just isn't on the market. Yet.
