Why try to understand Derrida? He apparently never understood himself. As for critiquing him, that is akin to putting toothpaste back into the tube.
Some philosophers should be merely forgotten and, with luck, Derrida will be remembered(?) only as the Ozymandias of philosophers.
- DiscourseFan 3y agoSee, this is why I said that nobody reads Kant! No genius ever understands what they are doing. They create objects which take on a life of their own, and we are left infinitely mystified by them.
