The vape pen is the one object that contains within it the trajectories and tensions that defines the modern world, really? Even if you're trying to illustrate an overall point about how irredeemably evil contemporary capitalism is, surely the cell phone is a better example..
- aidenn0 3y agoThey certainly touch on that around 10 minutes in. In addition, this is 1/3 of 3 videos, so I'll give TFV's author the benefit of the doubt for now.
- j4yav 3y agoI’m not familiar with the channel but it seemed like they were willing to torture any analogy to get to whatever point they wanted to make, was that just a bad first impression?

- j4yav 3y agoSurely there’s a middle ground where you can make an interesting, insightful video but don’t have to build it around the seemingly obviously incorrect conclusion that the vape pen is the single most defining object of our era.
