- Planktonne 3y agoNo it wasn't; absolutely no one ever thought the issue with films with sound is that their creators fundamentally misunderstood Girl with a Pearl Earring. Some people thought that [new medium] wasn't art, they didn't think it was driven by and for people who didn't understand any art. I do enjoy the irony though of you copy-and-pasting a generic pro-AI rebuttal to a comment you didn't understand.
