- jokethrowaway 3y agoThe food culture is different and there is less brainwashing that pushes people to eat crap. Growing up in EU, fat demonization wasn't as widespread as in the US, see a lecture about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzQAHITIUhg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzQAHITIUhg I think mainstream dietary recommendations are the cause of all our health issues, from obesity to increase in cancer (which will top cardiovascular diseases soon)
