I sort of use Apple Watch as a small phone when I don’t want to lug around the iPhone

  Can you say more about this? I've been thinking of ditching phones completely and just having the Apple Watch (currently I have no Apple products). Though I think I'd miss the ability to tether, which the Apple Watch doesn't do (understandably with such a small battery).
