  Humans have. Or maybe we’ve always been fully willing and capable of scamming anything of value out of anyone and everyone possible. Either way, it’s humanity that’s broken, not just the capitalist paradise we created.

    It's remarkable the contortions I see to avoid blaming Amazon for anything. Surely we can't blame them for obvious scams on their platform. After all, they cater to humans.

        But somehow there exist retailers that don't have such a problem fakes and counterfeits. Even ones run by humans.

          Oh. You’re right. All scales of business are the same, and counterfeit prevention is the same at all sizes. Also the number of products a small business sells is the same as a large business. You got me. I fucking hate Amazon, but you got me.

  They get what they deserve, and the people who shop there too. Amazon has been shitty for a long time and that’s because people allowed them to be and even participate.
