Ironically, ChromeOS is likely the most security-conscious OS available for developers. See: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=37783081 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=37783081 However, it is definitely not the most privacy-focused OS, due to deep Google integration. This is the main reason that I haven't moved myself over to ChromeOS.
