This is unfortunate. The writing was on the wall already with vSphere+, but I can't really commit to a subscription for VM infrastructure. Broadcom would be able to hold the whole company hostage with price increases. I’m not sure yet where we'll end up, but the small cluster of 8 machines of ours will not run vSphere in 2025.
