- Modified3019 3y agoAre you using a VPN? It doesn’t seem to like those.
- runnerup 3y agoNo. Stopped working about two months ago on my iPhone and MacOS systems. Doesn't matter if Chrome or Safari, DNS 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 or ISP default DNS.
- fuzzylightbulb 3y agoArchive.ph blocks some dns providers. Cloud flare is one of the impacted dns providers. Because cloud flare does not pass along some location specific information that archive.ph can use for tracking, archive.ph returns garbage replies to cloud flare. This is why you get stuck in the loop
- jjulius 3y agoFor what it's worth, my home network is blocked by archive.ph whenever I have my PiHole enabled.

- SnorkelTan 3y agoI’ve gotten ads on Facebook for erectile dysfunction pills that were simply clips of porn videos. When I took a screenshot of the ad and posted in an fb group my account was automatically banned from posting for 10 days. Facebook has the technology to prevent this, they just don’t for their paying customers.
- tiew9Vii 3y agoIt’s not just Instagram or adults who follow children. It’s parent company Facebook is constantly pushing reels of young females in my feed, wearing little clothing doing suggestive things/dances. I never interact with reels but they are continually pushed in my feed chasing clicks. It could be described as soft porn for people looking for people of a certain age. The rest of my Facebook feed and usage is boring middle aged male stuff. Automotive owner groups, hiking/outdoors groups, local cafes, restaurants and events. Nothing in my usage suggests I’d be interested seeing young females in my feed other than I’m a heterosexual male at a specific age. The reason they get pushed is simple to me. They do get clicks, that’s what fb is designed for and no doubt facebook metrics tell them this kind of content get clicks. Similarly every time you report a clear scammer you get an automated message 24hr later saying the user has not broken fb’s guidelines. FB is interested in the click/ad revenue only.

- Havoc 3y agoInstas dopamine feed certainly pushes young woman in bikinis quite hard too.
- rokkitmensch 3y agoPrediction: no advertisers will be dropping from Instagram despite the report coming from the Journal, and not Media Matters.
