It would be interesting to have a controlled study of how much where great entrepreneurs go matters. Perhaps it is a similar argument to the one that says a place like Stanford or Berkley are not great because of the actual schooling that goes on, but because of the kind of people it attracts. But I am not sure how you would design such a study. The summaries are pretty nice though.
