This is such a frustrating statement to read. I hope these hypothetical would-be founders get out of their social media bubble that's making them believe this absurdity and actually go start trying to network with VCs. Literally every single firm is going to give female founders somewhere between equal and preferential treatment.
Or maybe it's just a politician saying obvious lies to pander and I'm the rube for treating it like a genuine sentiment. I'm never sure anymore.
- pech0rin 3y agototally agree. would love to expound on this point based on what I have seen in VC / angel world after going through a round but honestly at this point and this environment I dont even want to share my honest opinion.
- rowanG077 3y agoJust look at Holmes. A woman was able to become one of the seemingly most important CEOs with essentially pure bullshit. If that doesn't prove women can get VC funds I don't know what will.
