power efficiency aside (which admittedly is non-trivial), this is not that big a deal or particularly interesting, imo.
- mwint 3y agoThis is a mobile processor being compared to flagship desktop processors. Apple’s lead is almost unfathomable.
- foxhill 3y agotwo process nodes difference. apple have bought out all of TSMC’s “3nm” capacity. they obviously consider it an important competitive advantage.
