Why do people archive their projects on GitHub instead of leaving it open?
Just wanted to know if there's any reason beside the obvious
- whatamidoingyo 3y agoIt signifies that the project is no longer being maintained. > You can archive a repository to make it read-only for all users and indicate that it's no longer actively maintained.
