Why do so many people hate the US federal government?
- Slava_Propanei 3y agoBecause federal bureaucrats are effectively an occupation government with views and goals wildly different from the citizens
- barsonme 3y agoHate is a strong word. People tend to like or dislike it more depending on whether they agree with the people who are in charge of it. I think, at its core, the negative attitudes stem from it being a “one size fits all” approach. Plus also a sense of detachment since state and local governments are what people interact with 99% of the time.
