Last Flexport jobs posting on HN was 19 days ago.
- bdcravens 3y agoI assume the previous CEO had no handle on what was going on with their hiring (as evidenced by the rescinded jobs and 200 jobs on their website despite a hiring freeze), so a founder stepped in, assumed that role, and is trying to clean up that mess.
- adw 3y agoI feel like Flexport should lose their right to post wanted ads here permanently over this. It’d be a largely symbolic punishment, let’s be real, but unethical behavior like this shouldn’t be allowed to pass.
- roflyear 3y agoOh, good luck with that. I'd make the bet you'll see a post from them by the end of the year. Didn't they remove commenting on those posts a year or so ago? I used to remember being able to comment on them, but I don't think you can anymore...

- 1letterunixname 3y agoWell, YC did boot out Medobed and HomeJoy & FlyMaids more or less self-destructed after double-dealing customer data. If YC doesn't denounce egregious unprofessional behavior, then it teaches other batches that it's allowed. Also: Qui tacet consentire videtur. (Silence gives consent.)
