Show HN: Dweets.com – Microblogging for Devs
Built this to microblog everything I am learning as a dev. It's an MVP, lots to improve on! Would love some feedback. (:
Also am looking for a job (preferably remote since I'm in SG), 1.5 years in as a Jr Dev at a local startup, self-taught by building stuff. I'll be on Twitter if you're interested! @raymondmoay
- bronikowski 3y agoI would probably throw it into my RSS reader… if there were any feed.
- davidcollantes 3y agoYou should eat you own food. Be on Dweet, not Twitter! :) Joke aside, I like it! Things I would like: 1. Slightly more compact interface. 2. If I click/tap a comment bubble, and not signed in, let me see the comment. 3. Maybe enforce setting an avatar?
- kunalgupta 3y agoif this was a service i’d join edit: ah, sign in = sign up
- comprev 3y agoUnless you’ve signed up, how can you sign in?
- sumants 3y agoFeedback I really like UI-- it's very clean. I think it is unlikely that someone would use this as their main driver tweeting only for developers. Maybe, you should find a way where a dweet also reposts on to Twitter or reddit communities. Maybe also an ability to refer users to the site would be cool.
- KomoD 3y agoDoes this integrate with Twitter or what? Other than using their oauth
- gabrielsroka 3y agoThese are called dweets too https://www.dwitter.net https://www.dwitter.net
- big_paps 3y agoDweets will always be the dweets on dwitter …
- pizzafeelsright 3y agoVery nice. UI request: space bar = page down.
- gbraad 3y agoIs it just me who thinks it is a lousy name? "Rude Dog and the Dweebs"
- p4thogenesis 3y agoAnd not "Dwight's beets"?.. I honestly thought this site was a play on the word as an all iconic beet farmers dating app.
