  Outside. People hang out together regardless of weather.

    People don't hang out outside very much in Texas at this time of year unless you're at a watering hole or pool.

    Huge parts of the US where people are definitely not spending time outside because it’s too warm.

    This is a good point. Nobody goes inside to avoid the heat in August.
