Clearly if the certainty of a world-ending impact is 100% then committing the entirety of humanities resources to deflecting it would be justified and expected.
But what about if the the certainty is 90%? 80%?
- marcosdumay 3y agoJustifiable, yes. Expected, certainly not. What does "committing the entirety of humanities resources" even look like? Anyway, this is certainly something that will never happen. But committing a lot of resources, yes, we'll do that if it's 1% too.
