- 3-cheese-sundae 3y agoCan be said about many of the things we partake in that evoke pleasure.
- joos3 3y agoNot really. e.g. caffeine and nicotine don’t have harmful side effects. Neither do spending time with your friends or loved ones.

Especially for people with certain conditions
- ip26 3y agoCaffeine impairs your quality of sleep taken too close to bed, where “too close” is after 12pm.
- ethbr0 3y agoThis. The half life of caffeine is ridiculous, compared to our assumptions.
- ben-schaaf 3y agoCaffeine increases blood pressure and is associated with arrhythmia. It also disrupts sleep, causing caffeine-induced sleep disorder. Prolonged consumption of caffeine results in dependence, causing withdrawal when dosage is reduced. - goatlover 3y agoLiving raises your risk of cancer, liver diseases, even f*ks up your sleep at times. I'd rather enjoy life than be risk-adverse.
