Ask HN: Who should I use for Domain Names since Google Domains has been sold?
I've been using Google Domains for a long time and have amassed a couple hundred domain names over that time. Google Domains worked well for me because I could delegate some domains to be managed by my IT team and not have to share logins.
I really need a domain management system that is setup for Multiple user permissions to maintain and manage domain changes. Can anyone share their experiences with a domain management service that has a similar feature?

- tredre3 3y agoPorkbun supports sub-accounts[1] to manage domains and is generally recommended as a good registrar. Cloudflare supports roles[2] but in my experience it's a bit annoying to setup and each user needs a full CF account. It's otherwise a well regarded registrar around here as well. Namecheap also supports delegation[3]. - rwky 3y agohttps://www.gandi.net/ https://www.gandi.net/ I think they support what you want but I've not checked in a while. I'm not sure if it's still the case but AWS used to use them when you registered a domain through them.
- KomoD 3y agoCloudflare and Porkbun are pretty decent choices, just an FYI though: you cannot use external nameservers if your domain is with cloudflare

- KomoD 3y agoJust an FYI for anyone who might care, Njalla is not a 'proper' registrar, they're basically just a proxy, the domain is registered under their name at another registrar so they technically own it, but the pro is that you can basically have total anonymity (assuming you don't pay Njalla with something like PayPal).
- ezedv 3y agoThere are plenty of excellent options to consider. Namesilo and Namecheap are popular choices with user-friendly interfaces and competitive pricing. Take your time to explore their features and reviews to find the best fit for your needs. Good luck with your domain search!

- 6sp 3y agoMoved to Cloudflare a while ago and have no complaints.
