The concern is exactly copyright laundering.
I write something, which happens to be primary source / unique content. Someone asks that to LLM, it spits out what I wrote, without any credits to me.
In the process of its verbiage manufacturing it may also slightly twist what I said, which may be different meaning, or is factually incorrect etc...
A search engine does not do this, but people are increasingly turning away from search engines to LLMs.
