I'm pretty sure this is not as complex as it reads (private network, ipv6, cloudflare etc). But I would assume that two hetzner server for 100$/month an nginx properly configured would do the same thing. Nice writeup cool to get insight:)

I don't even know if you'd need two servers. Spin up a few Docker containers on the 512gb raid array and you could serve the forum and mods on the same machine. It's not like OpenTTD has the user demands of Reddit or Huggingface.
