- bergie 15y agoYep. It would be nice to see a list of added/removed features vs. Classic. For example we use the time tracking functionality for our invoicing needs. Also, does the API (http://developer.37signals.com/basecamp/ http://developer.37signals.com/basecamp/) stay the same?
- qrush 15y agoThis post has a good list: http://37signals.com/svn/posts/3110-basecamp-next-the-goodbye-list-and-the-hello-list http://37signals.com/svn/posts/3110-basecamp-next-the-goodby... The API isn't ready yet, soon though!
- bergie 15y agoThanks! Seems indeed a lot of useful stuff was dropped. I wonder if that was based on usage analysis, or just an opinion on what the product should have. It is a shame that API appears to be only an afterthought. Otherwise third parties could possibly offer some of the missing features.
- qrush 15y agoIt's definitely not an afterthought. If you're interested in beta testing the API feel free to email me at nick@37signals.com, and I'll get you hooked up.

- alberth2 15y agoThis is crazy, so 37signals doesn't even allow new users to sign up for the Basecamp Classic version. Seeing this new Basecamp product makes me even more so want to use the OLD Classic version ... yet I can't.
- jonasdowney 15y agoYou can still sign up for Basecamp Classic at: http://basecamp.com/classic http://basecamp.com/classic
