Do whatever you want, but DO NOT put space before punctuation marks. With the exception of space before smileys that are substituting punctuation.
- aunetx 3y agoIt's funny because in French, you are meant to put a space between punctuation marks if and only if they contain two elements. So you put a space before :, ;, «, !, ? etc but not before ., ,, ..., etc And I find it wonderful!
- JohnFen 3y agoAnd don't use smileys as substitutes for punctuation.
