Chromium is an open-source browser, not Chrome.
- shadowgovt 3y agoSo implement it in chromium, and the conversation can move to "why is Chrome not adopting this feature that is already compatible with the codebase?"
- lonjil 3y agoChrome and Chromium are the same dev team. Open source doesn't mean that they'll accept any pull request. It was implemented in Chromium, as an experimental feature, and then removed.

- shadowgovt 3y agoExcellent. This is a good approach. The most hilarious way to deal with Google's lack of leadership would be to build out a browser that rivals their offering on top of their own core.
- tgv 3y agoIt is already in the code base. They're removing it.
