No need to be so sensitive. I don't WANT this to happen, but I see it happening clearly in front of me.
I don't see any evidence of that in the information I have as an Apple developer, which I sadly cannot post here in accordance with Apple's developer NDA.
- cylo 15y agoI'm also an Apple Developer, but I don't see what that has to do about looking up the information with regard to the Gatekeeper feature. If you visit http://www.apple.com/macosx/mountain-lion/security.html http://www.apple.com/macosx/mountain-lion/security.html you'll see the part that says, and I quote: "You can choose to install and run apps from the Mac App Store and apps that have a Developer ID." I would also encourage you to read: http://www.panic.com/blog/2012/02/about-gatekeeper/ http://www.panic.com/blog/2012/02/about-gatekeeper/ to actually understand Gatekeeper. It's not that I'm being sensitive, it's that I really can't tolerate FUD. And I'm sorry, but that is exactly what you're spreading.
