The entertainment new channel E! Is well established in this space. I have to wonder at what point a low cost arm is cheaper than an array of cameras.
- geerlingguy 3y agoThe speed the camera arm would need to move to nearly freeze time is astonishingly fast—if you were to try doing the entire shot on one camera. But I could imagine a setup with a static beginning and end camera, with a motion controlled camera timed to whiz by both so it could ramp up the acceleration. But much cheaper to put a camera on a rail/track instead of complex motion control.
