Sounds like he's going to run for mayor now, perhaps to top his noise level results in the gubernatorial election. Has he gone full MAGA yet or is he still milking the disaffected liberal thing? (I was SO WRONG before and now I'm RIGHT and you're EVIL if you disagree with my BRAND NEW beliefs!)
Reminder this guy thinks literally the only problem with housing is addicts and not that it's too expensive. I may be the only person alive who thinks it's "all of the above" but I also know a lot of his audience are dissent curious liberals who might not know the extent of his sheep's clothing routine.
- silisili 3y agoWhy the ad hominem? Is what he wrote untrue or misleading? It's a pretty short article. I ask earnestly there, I haven't been to or cared about SF in 4 or 5 years.
- hindsightbias 3y agoHe doesn’t seem to understand an addict could afford an SRO a decade back, and even when they got busted there’d be one open when they got out. But outside of Scott Alexander, none of the technobros that elected London seem capable of groking Econ 101 or that they played a part in it. Me, I’m ready to bring a bulldozer tomorrow to Valencia, Hayes and Dolores Park. But then all these YIMBYs will go NIMBY.
