Its high time everypost about insane pageviews and servers be coupled with solid revenue numbers.

- streptomycin 15y ago$1 CPM is not modest, depending on the website. Many sites make much less than that.
- sanswork 15y agoIndeed $1CPM for this type of site would be quite high.
- ceejayoz 15y agoIt's a fairly shaky assumption that an engineer putting together a MySQL sharding presentation would know the revenue numbers for the company.
- tomkarlo 15y agoEven if they did, they shouldn't be disclosing them.
- epc 15y agotumblr gets a cut whenever someone "buys" a tumblr design. Have no idea what that equates to in revenue but they are getting revenue.
