- electroly 3y agoTake a look at the number of deaths from smoke inhalation in any plane crash report, and that's with emergency exits. That's people who survived the actual crash and died from the fire. A fire in a plane is indeed a disaster. Fortunately, planes don't crash nearly as often as cars do.
- 0_____0 3y agoReally well, thanks for asking. It's amazing what a culture that takes safety extremely seriously, and has pragmatic systems in place to learn from incidents, can produce. Commercial air transport is THE safest mode of transportation in terms of deaths per distance traveled.

TBC tunnels have more room to exit and maneuver than most older subway tunnels.
