Argus – monitor the versions of software and trigger alerts when a new release
- jtwaleson 3y agoInteresting product! I’ve been looking at competitive intelligence tools for a bit. What’s your pricing model?
- avtar 3y agoLooks like it’s self-hosted software https://release-argus.io/docs/getting-started/ https://release-argus.io/docs/getting-started/
- wugie 3y agoI like this, will add it to Company Research Kit, a collection of competitive research resources that I created. I'm familiar with various website monitoring tools, but so far, I've seen none that would look strictly at software versions. Thanks for this post.
- toomuchtodo 3y agoLink to your research kit?
- LeonB 3y agoI’m also keen to know what else is in this kit? Thanks.
- acidburnNSA 3y agoThis info is valuable. I subscribe to a lot of software's release notes, which very frequently have RSS feeds.
- dexterdog 3y agoUnfortunately too many don't do that. I have many release notes in my change detection service so I find out that way.
- Wronnay 3y agoReminds me of GitPunch and newreleases.io
- indianhippie 3y agoWhy does the website instantly remind me of year 2014 UIs
- gnufx 3y agoFor what it's worth -- for use with the Fedora messaging system, but perhaps that could be replaced in another instance -- there's also https://release-monitoring.org/ https://release-monitoring.org/
