If the young are driving iPhone adoption there could be good reasons for it. I don't think the culture battle is winnable here. Android doesn't really offer something iOS/iPhones lacks. The iPhone has matured and Apple has all bases covered with their ecosystem. If there's feature parity why wouldn't you just get the desirable option? People want a repeatable experience and iPhones offer this because of obvious reasons, a few devices vs thousands with android. Apple is perceived as the premium brand while being affordable, when you're young at least this matters a lot.
