  Because generative AI isn’t creating new ideas, it’s just remixing existing ideas. This is exactly the type of thing AI is useless for.

    If you define "creating new ideas" widely enough to make your statement true about generative AI it's also true about most engineering and science carried out by humans.

    I don't need AI to "generate" new ideas. Here I'm using it as a search to point me to things I can research. Why the negativity?
