Can anyone let me know whether the 10-terabyte number is 1024-base or 1000-base? Would it fit on the formatted capacity of a Western Digital WD101FZBX Black, for example...?
- Zuiii 3y agoThe rule here is read these numbers in whatever way benefits the manufacturer; i.e read it as base-1024 if bigger numbers look better and 1000 if they don't. I would assume that 10TB of hacked data will not fit a 10TB Western Digital hard drive.
