        I've been to several county council meetings as well as committee meetings for different interest groups in my locale. I know it looks like they don't get anything done but it's actually REALLY complicated because literally everyone is a stakeholder. The councilors that I've seen are not bad people and they don't try to lie. You're painting with a really broad brush if you think all politicians do nothing.
